What is a lever arch file?
A lever arch file is a type of A4 folder used to organise paperwork in your business. The clasps at the central fold of the files have two rings which open up via a lever (hence the name ‘lever arch’). Hole-punched paper and plastic wallets are then able to be slotted over these rings when they open and then clasper shut again, creating a binder that you can then flip through.

Lever arch files tend to come in sizes that can accommodate A4 pieces of paper and plastic wallets, though naturally they are a bit bigger than these measurements to best protect the edges of your documents lest they become dog-eared. A4 lever arch files tend to come in the standard measurements of 7.5cm x 31.5cm, so they can easily accommodate paperwork.
